StevenLorenz

I automate your company’s processes with AI.

Freelance Forward Deployed Engineer: I work close to the ground, find the tasks that eat your hours, and deliver the automation that does them for you — inside your tools, not in a demo.

14years inside an industrial company
1full industrial ERP designed and built
5products built independently

01 — OFFER

What I automate.

The repetitive work everyone does “until we find something better”. AI reads, sorts, drafts and fills in; a person signs off on what matters.

Reporting

The Monday report

Figures pulled, cross-checked, commented and sent on their own — instead of a day of copy-paste into a spreadsheet.

Sales

Leads and follow-ups

Every inbound request qualified, enriched and filed in the CRM; follow-ups go out at the right time, written for the person.

Documents

Invoices, quotes, orders

PDFs and emails read, the data entered in the ERP, discrepancies flagged. No more retyping.

Content

Posts and catalogues

One piece of content turned into every format and language, scheduled and measured — the system I run for my own channels.

Support

Internal answers

An assistant that answers from your documents, procedures and history, and shows the source of every answer.

Internal tools

The right tool instead of a spreadsheet

The app your team actually needs — from a small tool to a full ERP, like the one I built at Artixium — connected to your data and the tools you already use.

02 — METHOD

On the ground, as a freelancer.

The FDE model, as an independent: I go where the work happens, learn the business, deliver until it runs — then hand you the keys.

  1. 01

    Diagnosis

    one to two weeks

I spend time with the people who do the work. We put a number on the hours lost and pick the process where the gain is clear and measurable.

  2. 02

    Build

    a few weeks

I build inside your tools — Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, your CRM, your ERP — with guard rails: every step checkable, a person signs off on what matters.

  3. 03

    Go-live

    and hand-over

It runs in production, measured in hours saved. Your people know how to use it and change it; the documentation is delivered. The engagement ends there — or carries on, if you want it to.

I come from the business side

Fourteen years at Artixium, an LED display manufacturer: from the brand identity to Marketing Director, and the company’s whole information system, which I built — ERP, customer portal, stock apps. I know where the hours go.

I deliver end to end

Diagnosis, code, data, interface, deployment: one person, not a chain of contractors passing the problem around.

Honest numbers

My own tool showed a 188% return; checked against history it was 22.8%. I measure before I promise, and I say so when the gain is not there.

03 — PROOF

What I have already automated.

Systems that run every day for my own businesses. Nothing theoretical.

Information system — manufacturing

The ERP of an LED display manufacturer

At Artixium I designed and built, alone, the tools the company runs on every day:

  • A full ERP: serial-number and inventory traceability, from the component arriving to the customer.
  • Support tickets and returns (RMA) for LED display components.
  • A customer portal and the brand’s website, connected to the ERP.
  • A tablet app synchronised with the ERP, and a kiosk app on Zebra terminals to scan and trace every stock movement.

Control room — AI

EdgeDesk

The private dashboard that runs my businesses, built alone.

  • Sends every post to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok, in each network’s format and on schedule, then reads its statistics back every hour.
  • Turns Twitch clips into YouTube-ready compilations — picking, editing, thumbnail and Short — with nobody touching it.
  • Ranks market opportunities by verified net return, and keeps the list of what is waiting on a human decision.

downtocamp — road trip and wild camping planner

Product — Web & mobile

downtocamp

A road-trip and wild-camping planner, website and phone app, in English, French and German — designed, coded and launched alone.

  • Camping spots imported every week from OpenStreetMap, automatically.
  • Friends, group chats, shared routes; emails and notifications handled by the system.
downtocamp.com

Product — Trade shows

ExpoWings

Trade-show planning for European exhibitors: booth rosters, crew, travel and hotels, logistics, budget and leads. Born from fourteen years of trade shows; preparing for launch.

expowings.com

Product — Estate & shop

Amo-Te × Apisolea

A Portuguese olive-oil and honey estate, and its online shop.

  • Amo-Te: the estate’s website and its management — olive harvests, beehives, bottling in numbered batches with QR codes, stock and customer reviews.
  • Apisolea: the brand and online shop (Shopify) where the oil and honey are sold.

04 — CAREER

Fourteen years in industry. Now, automation.

My relationship with LED manufacturer Artixium Display began in Shenzhen, designing the company’s original identity as a freelancer. I returned in 2018 to build its marketing, ran it as Marketing Director from 2020 — building the company’s whole information system along the way — and went back to freelancing in 2026.
